Patricia Beene, President
Patricia L.
Beene holds a Certified Property Manager designation from the
Institute of Real Estate Management and has had more than 35
years experience in all phases of real estate management and
asset repositioning. Pat has worked closely with developers and
owners of numerous residential and commercial properties, has
been successful in turning around distressed properties, and
marketing projects with serious vacancy and image problems. She
has managed over 12,000 apartment units, 1,000,000 square feet
of office/retail and many niche hotel properties.
Prior to
joining Forest, Pat was Director of Property Management for
Greater Boston Community Development where she became intimately
familiar with non-profit property owners and State and Federal
Agencies involved in the creation and management of apartment
properties. Pat's management philosophy is to train onsite
staff to manage their properties as if they were their own
businesses. Pat and the Chief Financial Officer provide
marketing, accounting, and financial support to the onsite
staff. This leads the onsite staff to focus on net operating
income and cash flow just as the owners do.
Jeffrey Libert, Chief Financial Officer
Jeffrey A. Libert began his real
estate career in 1978, while attending the Harvard Business
School, with the purchase of a 3-family house in Somerville,
Massachusetts. Since that time, he has sponsored over 60
partnerships containing 4,000 apartments and nearly 1,500,000
square feet of commercial space. A finance business that he
organized originated approximately $50 million of loans in the
residential and commercial markets and consulted to a group
organizing an insured bank.
Jeffrey
Libert has learned the property management business from the
ground up. He is intimately familiar with property management,
leasing, brokerage, construction, loan origination and equity
syndication. With regard to banking and equities, Jeffrey has
more than 50 and 500 relationships respectively. He has
originated for his affiliated entities over $750 million in debt
and $100 million in equity. Mr. Libert was on the faculty of the
Harvard Business School for a number of years, where he taught
real estate.
